diesel fuel cap

I need a new diesel fuel cap for my 2004 Inspire. My dog got out of my motorhome when I was filling up with diesel and I left it there. I have searched the messages and I do not see where anyone else has done something like this.
First time for everything.

Thank you. I found out what was wrong with my water. The screen was clogged with sand and rocks. I removed the screen but I could not clean it so I bought some at the hardware store. I just happened to put my finger in there and feel the sand and rocks.

Ilene, I hope you can find your dog. I have been very tempted to leave my dog at the fillup station too but my wife would make me go back and find it. Oh, and the cap you can find at most auto parts stores and I would start with Napa.

Yes, I was able to get him back in by offering him treats.
I went down to Auto Zone yesterday but they could not match it so I will try Napa.

When I left a cap at flying J. I took the other cap to NAPA and they found me one that works.
