Exhast Pipe Diameter

I would really appreciate any input you can provide on the topic below
My 2005 Inspire is in storage. I would like to purchase a chrome turned down extension, to direct the start up fumes at least down rather than directly across to a fellow camper.

What is the diameter of our exhaust pipe ?
Do I have to weld ? or can I use some kind of glue if slips over existing ?
Can I purchase one that slips over the exhaust pipe on the motor home ? If so what size ?
Finally, does anyone have a supply house for RV's that may have this product ?

Thank You Very Much

Stan,

My 'o4 Inspire has a 5"OD exhaust pipe. I just put on an extension that has a bolt to tighten to hold it in place.
I think you have a CAT so I don't know if your size and mine are the same.

Stan, CC had a chrome extension (standard on '06 Inspire and later), but it was not turned down. It was for appearance only. Kevin Waite probably knows where to get one.
I wouldn't worry about turning fumes down to avoid gassing your neighbors. You're gonna gas 'em one way or the other.

I just fire it up, bring in the slides. Build air pressure and go.
If it's really early in the morning, I usually accidentally lean on the horn.

Ain't it a hoot?
