Well another 2004 Intrigue with transmission cooler problems develops. I am in Suisun, Ca. awaiting a

new Copper and brass replacement from Eugene, Oregon. Oredered the radiator today should be here

Wed or Thrurs and back on the road after that. Lots of dollars, but have been waiting for this shoe to

drop for 5 years.

Keep looking under the Mac page. Trip something and trail something are the main programs. Can't

remember, not at my Mac. Lots of support packages like mapsource.

Opportunity to learn more - what a good group you guys are...
I learned to look for the risk of the 'bad' radiators when searching for used coaches. (Ours has the old reliable one, many bolts and magnate works well on it:)!
I did not know that the trans coolers were also a suspect area too. Are these mounted in the same cooling fan path as the engine radiator? Assume so, but can't go look. I have no memory (a common theme:)!) on checking the trans cooler....

Interested in more info on frequency of problems for these.

Best of luck on your current problem, Smitty

It was only a matter of time. Now you have one less thing to worry about.

I am not sure, but had a friend with a late 02 Intrigue have the same problem. Call Dave Remington at

Oregon Motor coach, Chris Snyder in Tucson, or Gary Obermire at Premiere RV in Junction City, they'll

know.

Our '03 LEXA (6177) radiator story is well known.... radiator/transmission share the same cooling body.... it failed while on the road in Alaska ruining the Allison and costing a total (including all fluids, and complete service, not insignificant!) of just under 25 grand. Now have the copper/brass radiator.
If you wait till it breaks the cost ZOOMS upwards! Little or no warning!

Cheers, Mel Shapiro
