Motosat won't lock on?

Hello folks

We have a Motosat Executive dish, with the Nomad 3 controller and I can't get the antenna to lock onto to the Dish 119 satellite. The TV screen shows that it finds a good signal (82%) and it says locked on the TV screen, but the LOCK light on the Nomad never comes on and it will keep searching right past the optimum location. The error code says "...the line of sight is blocked," but I'm is a wide open area. The test procedure produces no fault codes. I have tried all 4 of the Dish "Orbital Postion" programing options with the same result. If I shut off the Nomad at the PEAK FIND point, I can view the Dish TV channels with no problem. The sticker on the bottom of the controller states that Rev 33.8 software is installed. Since I just installed this used controller, I don't know if it has a later version software installed. The satellite was installed in 2002 but we have never used the satellite since we purchased the coach used in 2004. I guess we could live with shutting off the controller, but I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas? TIA.
