Xzantrax 450 series 2000 watt duel output inverter/Charger

Fellow Owners, Hope all of you had a great Fourth of July. Sitting here in Ormond Beach Florida I found out the Problem with our Inverter. After ordering a new freedom panel and 25 ft cable it worked for a couple of days then Faild. I found out works fine without the remote panel. I removed the Inverter and it was dated June of 06. Removed the cover and I used velcro to fill the space that a rotted rubber spacer was that allows me to turn on and off the Charger or Inverter. Works fine. But I miss the Remote panel. Have anyone of you removed the Inverter and shipped it out for repair? Would be glad to hear from you. On my first Motorhome back in the 90's I bought a Hart Interface 2.5kw inverter/charger and installed it myself. A few years later while in Wisconson we had a Storm and it wiped out the inverter, I removed it and shipped it to their repair shop and they repaird it. Re-installed it and worked well back then. I have a friend in the Solor Biz that recomends an Out Back pure sine wave Inverter/Charger. Im looking into repair as Im out 225$ for the new freedom panel.
