Battery Equalization

Yahoo Message Number: 72797
I have a 05 Magna with a 200 model silverleaf controler for the prosine 3.0 Inverter. I have been attemting to Equalize the batteries (Lifeline AGM'S) as directed by Lifeline to increase my resting voltage. The VMS (silverleaf) has a setting for equalization and when I engage it, it only stays in this mode for about 1 hour. Lifeline said I should equalize for 8 hours. Has anyone done this process and had better success?

Thanks,

John 05 Magna 6456

I equalize about every 6 months John...
Don't have the Silverleaf... I start the equalizing process directly from the inverter/charger "power-sharing" panel... It does take approximately 8hrs to complete the process...
