GASKET ON SLIDE COMING OUT

HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?????MINE KEEPS MOVEING AROUND, IT IS NO LONGER IN THE RIGHT PLACE, SO I TAKE MY HAND & TURN IT TO GET IT TO FIT. I HAVE STOPPED AT A LOT OF RV SER.BUT NO ONE WOULD LIKE TO FIX IT.C.C.I. IN OR. DOES NOT DO OUT OF WARR. UNITS. I HAVE CALLED THEM, GOT NAMES, TO FIX, GO TO THEM, SORRY WE CAN NOT HELP YOU......LAST ONE WAS LAZY DAYS, IN FL. TOOK MY # WELL CHECK INTO IT AND GET BACK TO YOU, THAT WAS 4 WEEKES AGO. 2000,30498 DAN

Dan,

Don't know where you got the information that CC in Oregon does not work on out of warranty work. I was there in June and had three out of warranty items addressed. I would say that probably 75% of the coaches being worked on were not in warranty. A guy with a '99 Intrigue had to have a brand new slide room built & installed due to water damage. You have not received correct information.

Dan,

Call Lazy Days and ask for Tim Reed. He is CCI's service rep. and he can handle this type of problem. When our slide was rusting under the rubber gasket material, he removed the material and the rust, recoated the metal and reinstalled the rubber. He knows these coaches like the back of his hand and he works for CCI but uses LDs facilities. You need to build a relationship with someone like LDs and they will call you back right a way. We have never had to wait more then a few hours for a phone call on anything we call about.
