HWH Good service report

Yahoo Message Number: 73840
Our 99 Allure has been used fulltiming since taking factory delivery and now has 163,000 + miles. At the FMCA gathering in Madison, MI, I was doing a inspection and found that the front arm that supports the slide, also pushes it out and in, had a problem. The end where it bolts to the slide has an adjusting bolt. The end of the arm had 2 breakes and the bolt was pushing down and was making a cone shape [wish I was more computer wise and could post a picture]. Made an appointment with the HWH factory in Moscow, Iowa. Pulled the coach in at 7:00 AM, Lon and a engineer looked it over and came up with a plan. A new adjusting bolt was machined along with a app. 1/4 inch square washer which was welded to the arm for more support. Was told this was the first arm crack they had seen. Was out the door by 3:00 PM. Total bill was less than $200.00. Very pleased with the fix/repair.
