Intermittant Step Door Switch Operation

Yahoo Message Number: 5442
Hi Folks,

As reported many times in this user group, the problem with a loose door frame switch which causes intermittant or failure of the steps to retract happened to me. Upon examination, the thin nut had backed off.
No washer, just the one nut. I bought a nut from ACE hardware. Secured both nuts, first one then the other. Why CCI did't use a locking method is a good question.

A drop of blue Loctite works well to.
