leaking windshield in older Intrigue

The windshield is leaking around both panels in our 1995 CC Intrigue. The service manager at a reputable RV dealer in central NC says that many front-end caps of Country Coaches manufactured in the mid-90s sagged in the middle. If this is the case in our coach they may have to reshape the openings and/or reinforce the cap, which could be quite expensive.
So, my question is for your folks who own older units: have you had such a problem, and if so, what was the fix?

My. coach has a small leak at the top, right-hand driver side windsheild. Water is clear with no rust. Happens only after a heavy rain and then not every time.

Does your windshield have a small semi-rigid vinyl drip trough mounted over it? That was the culprit on my 98 Allure. The sealant between the F/glass and the drip trough had deteriorated allowing accumulated water to enter and drip down onto the dash panel.
I cut away the old sealant, roughed the surface with sandpaper and re-sealed with a small bead of polyurethane adhesive/sealant (Sikaflex). Do not use silicone! See my recent post. You should do this ASAP as rust will surely follow. It will make a mess of your windield blinds.

You may want to check the archives. But, I have never heard anyone mention sagging being prevalent on our vintage front end caps.

Sikaflex or 3 M polyurethane can do wonders. These polyurethanes are tenatious, tough and flexible. IMHO, unless you have incurred damage or very unusual stresses to the front end I would suggest that you try this material before resorting to major structural surgery.

Had a similar issue on the left side. While the gentleman from RV Glass was fixing my driver side access window, he resealed my marker lights and resealed the windshield gasket. No leaks. No charge. TWI 2004 intrigue 11731

Our '99 Magna did not have problems with leaking until we had the front repainted and new gel coat. Does not leak all the time, though. Interested to hear what others have to day.
