CRV 2012 Towable?

Hi Group:

I am trying to replace my 2004 Honda Element (Honda will no longer will produce them) with a 2012 CRV. One of the salespersons just wrote:
"I did want to make you aware of one aspect of the 2012 CR-V. It is now going to be an All Wheel Drive setup, and from all the forums we have been reading, the 2012 AWD model will not be flat tow compliant. Honda has not released this information, it is from 3rd party web sources, and RV web forums".
In that he wants to sell me a car and knows it has to be towable, I tend to believe him.

Have any of you seen this disappointing information? If so, where?

I do not know about the 1212 but my 2008 CRV all wheel drive is towable. The salesman did not know so I asked to see the owners manual and read it for myself. Look at the manual in the back index about towing.
