Buying Country Coach - Should i buy extended warranty/ which one?

We are looking at two CC and this will be our first purchase. Would appreciate input on whether to purchase an extended warranty and if so which one. We live in Oregon, hour and a half from Junction City and both Coaches are 2008 models. Thanks!

You didn't post your name or other info, but if I were buying a (new) 2008 CC, I would not waste the $$.

In 2007 we bought a barely used 2006 CC Intrigue and purchased the extended warranty. Over the past 4 years, that warranty has more than paid for itself. I would highly recommend purchasing one.

Consumer's Union (Consumer Reports) has a very dim view of extended warranties on most everything. They are what is known as a "profit center." The people from whom we bought our 2004 Allure did in fact have an extended warranty, and so far as I have ever been able to determine never used a dime of it. And the company (U.S. Warranty?) made it virtually impossible to transfer the warranty to us, with requirements that took so long to meet that said warranty was close to expiration before the transfer could be effected...if the company would ever have done so.Ken Harrison, 2004 Allure #31035

I had a less than enjoyable experience with US Warranty as well. It was all about "parts listed/parts covered' (or not!) and "manufacturer's defects". Had to do with radiator, PTO, charge air coolers. Negotiated for a summer (last) and finally got partial settlement on a promise that I would see them in court! Not recommended!

I now have another coach and have coverage with Easy Care. Very happy with the contract...I know EXACTLY what is covered and what is excluded (not much excluded). Expensive, but well worth the peace of mind. The earlier repair bill on the Inspire was $11K!

These coaches are just to expensive and complicated to drive w/o coverage, especially with no CC to stand behind them.

Absolutely get covered. I bought Easy Care through Premier Motor Coach Services in Tucson (1.877.624.2024). Speak to Joseph. Your coach must have less the 40K miles. It is a 4 yr policy, I paid $5,825.

I have had ACC for years and have had good service. Steve Burgess is the owner and his number is 813-767-4357. I have known Steve for several years, he has good pricing and will give you three years membership to Country Coach Friends International with your purchase as well as a good discount.

We have an extended warranty through Star RV (Interstate National) and so far, it's paid for itself. However..... getting them to pay up can sometimes be a real hassle and their reps are rude. When I had a problem with a claim, I spoke to a rep who was less than helpful. When I asked (politely), to speak with her supervisor, she refused! Told me she was as high as I needed to talk to... Had to call back a little later and spoke to a real human being who was very helpful. They are equally disrespectful to the repair facilities. You have to stay on it to keep

Just had some work done on my Magna at Premier in Junction City and, although I don't know for sure since I haven't picked up the coach, Gary tells me that Easy Care covered the work (other than stuff that I knew would be excluded). So, I guess my response is "so far, so good!"
