East coast CC owners

I know CC and most vendors are on the west coast but I am in VA and would like to hear from the east coast people on where they travel with their coaches and where they find good service work. I will be traveling to Key Largo 4/1 - 4/8 to a little spot we have camped at two years so far. This will be our first real road trip since purchasing our coach in Sept last year. Also have a trip planned to the Delaware Water Gap the first week in August. There will be lots of weekend trips but most of them will be closer to VA Beach. I would love to meet up with others on this forum during my travels.

We live in FL and travel mostly east from TX/OK/AR/LA. Last summer we went to Savannah GA, Charlotte NC, Gettysburg PA (Drummer Boy RV Park), Newburgh NY KOA and took the tour into NYC, Niagara Falls (Branches of Niagara). Hot Springs Arkansas has a new beautiful park on Lake Catherine. Catherines Landing. Long level paved pull thrus. Lots to do there. River Ranch RV Resort in Lake Wales FL is a great place to meet. Fountain RV Service in Lakeland does some of our service while in FL. They are very familiar with Country Coaches. Great service, reasonable prices. We use Cummins Coach Care for generator service, chassis work. We have used the on in Montgomery AL and the one in Tulsa OK and they are awesome. In Tampa, we stay at Quail Run RV Resort in Wesley Chapel, 20 mins north of Tampa. Near Fort Worth TX we like Oak Creek RV park in Weatherford. Quiet, peaceful yet near everything. There is also another new RV park in Freeport FL (about 10 miles from the beach). Live Oak Landing. Access to bay fishing. We would also like to attend a rally on the east coast. We met a few CC owners at the FMCA rally in Brooksville FL in Feb.

Drew,

I agree with Lonny that Fountian RV in Lakeland, FL. knows Country Coaches. Butch Williams is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had some work done last year while traveling through the area and very happy with service.

We became full timers last August. We have been in Titusville, Forida for the winter and rented Larry Feather's (a major contributor to this forum) extra lot at Willow Lakes RV and Golf Resort.
We are about ready to be moving again and will go up the east coast this year. We will hit the Escapees East Coast Rally in mid April in Marion, NC near Asheville.
We will travel across to the Raleigh Durham area, then up to College Park MD to take in DC, Baltimore and Annapolis. Then on to Gettysburg, Lancaster, Philly, and Atlantic City. We'll do NYC somewhere from the outskirts via train. Then on to Providence/Boston. On up to Maine and Acadia. From there we will go to the Canadian Maritimes, Quebec City and Montreal. Down through upstate NY including Cooperstown and the Finger Lakes region. After a stop at Niagara, we will see family in the midwest and take in some more stuff on our way to wintering in Texas. You can follow our full time adventures through our blog http://boonedocksllc.blogspot.com/. There is a link for email notification of our blog posts.
I want to get over to Fountain RV while we are still here in Florida. We had luck in the midwest with Cummins in Toledo, Jacksons garage in Celina Ohio and Downriver Bus in Brownstown Michigan for chassis work.
We had new TVs put in with cabinet mods extra shelves etc at From Trees to These in Decatur Indiana and satellite and electronics work from Cruising American RV in Celina Ohio. All great places.

Forgot Eagle's Pride RV here in Titusville, FL who got my Hurricane purring again. They work on a ton on higher end rigs as they are located in a higher end RV resort.

If you have foggy windows, East Coast Designers are great.
