Stan's service in Palm Desert (air conditioning)

Yahoo Message Number: 78287
We are in Borrego Springs, where yesterday the temperature was 96° (outside...the temperature in the coach went to 99°).
We have been obliged to use 30 amp service. I thought I had taken all necessary precautions to avoid overloading the circuit and the air conditioning unit(s) it (them) self (selves). Nevertheless, we have lost air conditioning. (Part of the problem may be low or fluctuating voltage in the park)

A 50amp extension cord will arrive on Monday. In the meantime, I have been looking for a shop that advertises its capabilities with RV air-conditioning. The only one nearby that shows up on a Google search is the above named shop. When I have the 50amp cord, I will plug into the 50amp service and see if that materially improves the roof units' operation. Otherwise, I was thinking about taking the coach to Stan's while we go to the Indian Wells Arts Festival.
So, the nature of this message is to ask if anybody here has any feeling about Stan's (there are no reviews on line), or a recommendation regarding any other roof A/C shop in the area between Palm Springs and Indio. BTW, it was fifteen degrees cooler today.
(The leaking water line to the ice maker of the Dometic refrigerator will be addressed when we get home).

Thanks for any thoughts.

I forgot the protocol, for which I apologize.

A way to tell if the 50 amp will make a difference is to fire up your generator and run the air.

Well, duh! I didn't even think of that! (Slap of palm against forehead).
