Hydronic Heat 2002 Intrigue

Does anyone know where I can find information on what hydronic heat the 2002 Intrigue has?

Our 2002 Intrigue has a Hurricane Heat diesel furnace, and I have an owners manual if you need reference or manufacture info. They dint make this model anymore, but have a replacement I think? Skip 2002 Intrigue #11329 (Suite of Dreams)

The hurricane heater is made by ITR Heat, http://itrheat.com/ and they still make all the parts etc if you need them. Web site has the phone number.
You really can't wear one out, they are made so well. Mine has over 3000 hours on it and I just had to replace the combustion fan.

Now taking this question to a more detailed level; in the 2002 Intrigue would the Hurricane just heat coolant to space heat the inside of the coach? or does it also interchange with Atwood Water Heater and engine coolant? And does this unit have an electric element for when you are on shore power?
Thanks for all the help, I'm lookiing at a 2002 Intrigue to replace our 1996 Intrigue.

The coolant loop includes the three interior regesters, a finned tube in the plumbing bay, the water heater and engine. on many cold mornings I have had ambient temps in the 30's and turned on the ignition and read the engine temp gauge above 60. Makes cold starts smoother. Skip 2002 Intrigue #11329.

I'm just learning to use this group and making some mistakes, so sorry. Thanks again for your answers, you answered all my questions but one; is there an electric element in the Hurricane, so if you are on shore power the desiel burner does not need to fire?

Don, The model in our unit is CO45DRF. Jim at Rixen;s Ent. 1-503-668-6090 helped me with our questions 3 years ago. I replaced the rubber mounting bushings to minimise the noise. I think the last 3 letters indicate how the exhaust faces. the CO45 should be the model Skip

I have a 2003 model Intrigue built in very early 2002 calendar year. I have a Hurricane hydronic system. It does not have an electric element. It will also heat the house off the engine while running down the road. I flip on the interior heat exchanges button only for heating (along with setting the comfort control to furnace). There is also a loop that will heat the hot water tank off the hydronic system. My system does not have its own boiler fluid like many do. Mine operates with the engine coolant using the coolant expansion tank as its reservoir. It took me quite a time to figure out this much as there wasn't much info on the system in the literature box. I recently had to replace the fuel pump as it was causing flame outs. It now is purring but is a bit loud as noted by others. Hope this info helps.

Gary, I have the same heater in my 2000 Intrigue and just wanted to mention that the cause of my pre-mature fuel pump failure was the bleeder valve being left open...causing the fuel pump to run continuously....according to spec (and the local Hurricane dealer) the bleeder should be off, or only open 1/16th to 1/8th of a turn if you feel there is any air getting into the system. I left mine off completely after the initial bleeding, and it has been fine. This has also made the unit quieter, with the pump running slower.
