Air Conditioner repairs - San Diego

I need the rear AC unit repaired/replaced while in San Diego. Any suggestions for whom I use?

While they do have Dealer's Shop Rates:)! Holland Motors, now in San Marcos, have years of CC experience. I know they can do the job, and do it well. But, at a cost...

Others may have other recommendations too.
Where will you be staying in the San Diego area? As I know of another shop, Southcoast RV in Chula Vista, that could probably do it too. If you call them, ask for Mike (the owner) and ask him to confirm he can do it for you. They also have a mobile truck, so if staying at the Chula Vista Marina RV Park, they might be able to do it for you on site... I know their shop rates are lower then Holland Motors, and I've had good results with Mike and his crew (they are an ugly bunch!:) on many tasks before. They added the Amish Cooling unit to the our 1200, as one example. Dropped our generator to service, etc.

I have an extremely knowledgable mechanic I have used for the last 7 years. I know he could handle your requirement along with saving you money. His name is John Gies ------ 619-634-78345 -- We live in San Diego and trust him with all our RV concerns.
