Carlsbad NM RV Park Recommendations

We plan to visit the Carlsbad Caverns in September.
We are looking for good park recommendations.
RV Park Reviews is good however, I'm looking for other recommendations from personal experience.

Hi RJ,

We stayed at the Carlsbad KOA a few years ago. It was nice with big spaces. The people were great. If you have dogs they have a good dog play area.
If you are so inclined the International UFO museum is fun and different. Also in Roswell the Art Museum has a great collection of Robert Goddard's rockets - cannot believe he did not blow himself up!!

Years ago we stayed a simple, but nice, park in White City. Which is right below the Caverns.
