New here

Not sure if this is the right place to introduce myself, but I didn't see a "newbie" type of section.
I'm retired military, wife is due to retire in about 18 months. Our plan is to purchase a used M/H and travel full time for 5 years or longer. I have been doing research on different MFG's and have narrowed my choices down to certain models of Newmar and Monaco and Country Coach. It's obviously easy to find info on the Newmars and Monaco's, but I've not been able to find a website that lists all the different specs, floorplans, etc of the CC's. Is there such a site, if not, any recommendations on gathering this info.
Thanks for any info.

John

Welcome to the group. What price range are you looking for? How far off is your planned purchase. You will find this model history link below very interesting. It was maintained by Damon, a top salesman at Guaranty RV in Junction City.

Maybe someone else can remember which website has the floor plans for all models of CC.

Welcome, and thank you for serving!!

Those are two of the best sources of info already posted.
You can also go to PPL and look at both still for sale, and sold, units. They add a few pictures, and usually have a floor plan layout too. This provides not as much 'one stop shopping' as the sites already provided, but does give you a feel for the prices of a rig. Works well for SOB units too:)!
Best of luck on your search. The group is the Brain Trust on CC, so ask away as questions come up.

I appreciate all of you taking the time to respond and providing such good information. Our plans are to purchase a coach in about a year, price range could be anywhere from what we find a quality unit for, to no more the $270k, we're hoping to keep it around 200k or less, but DW wants some fairly specific things. I'm in the process of looking thru older posts and doing some searching to see about adding a dishwasher, removing carpet, changing out the "booth" style dinette and putting in the pull out type. Some of the reasons I want to look at specs is to see what years/models have psw's, what types of tv's, electronics, etc. So much studying, and research to be done. I get rather anal in my quest for info before making purchases. I'm sure you guys will get tired of hearing my questions as I move further into my research.
Thanks

John

You might consider buying a coach and upgrading the interior to your specs. The things you find important will be new and exactly what you want. The final cost may be less than finding the already perfect coach.

That is something that is under consideration. One of the things I like about CC is both my wife and I both like the overall floor plans we've seen, just some of the specifics are not to our tastes.
Not looking for specific ways to do the following, just trying to gauge the difficulty of the following.
Remove a booth dinette and replace with the "pull out table type? Add a dishwasher?

Install a residential type fridge? Change a queen bed to a king, is it just a matter of replacing the mattress, or do I need to rebuild the entire bed support system?

Bob, appreciate you taking to time to make a good suggestion.

Should be easy if you are replacing flooring anyway.
Add a dishwasher?

If you don't require an oven many have put dishwasher in place.
Install a residential type fridge? Will require some cabinet work. If you dry camp may require new inverter and more batteries.
Change a queen bed to a king, is it just a matter of replacing the mattress, or do I need to rebuild the entire bed support system? The night stands and slide may limit space. Unless you sleep on the edge of the bed the extra 6" hangover should not be critical.
