2004 Inspire Escape windows

I went out to my RV to see if I could get the escape windows open and I can not. It say to twist or pull the red handle and push out on window that says EXIT. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

IIlene, assuming your window is like mine . . . there is a plastic latch as part of the handle like a trigger, push on it to free the handle, but this will only open it a bit more. Now, spray WD-40 all over the handle and go away for 2-3 hours.
When you return, with some effort, but not the iron grip of death, pull down. The handle should go down slowly with effort so it is about parallel with the floor.

Now you should, with effort be able to pivot the window up.
