Specialty Window Coverings in Goshen Indiana repairs the day-night shades for $15 which includes return postage. You just have to get the shade to them. I have shipped shades to them several times over the years. Call them at 574-262-5190 for specifics and to make sure that they will repair yours.
Afterthought --- you said blinds and I'm talking about shades. Maybe my info is not applicable for you but other folks can use the information.
