Speakers Not Working

I have round black grilled speakers in the front and also in the bedroom of my 2005 Inspire 36' #51264.
The speakers do not work. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thank you,
RJ

Hi RJ,

Have your speakers ever worked. Usually the surround sound speakers are run through the AV receiver. If you are new to coach or have not tried them before I would turn the TV on and change the selector to something like "6-speaker mode".

In the bedroom ours run through the DVD player.

Have you checked the toggle switch for dash and home on toggle panel?

On the drives left along with the fan switches, window visor switch, just above the transmission control panel.

Jack,

Thanks, mine is blank. I just have a plastic insert in that spot no switch.

RJ,

Had the same problem with my 2005 Allure. Turned out that someone's big foot had snagged the stereo wires above the gas pedal and pulled the wire connectors loose in the back of the stereo unit. Don't know where your stereo is located, but I simply pushed the connectors fully together and the problem resolved. Don't know if this is your issue, but it sure the thing I'd check first.
