Removing #5 Left basement door

We got a little too close to a iceberg size boulder in Colorado a few weeks back and I'm trying to remove the #5 Left basement door and take it to someone who will repair/paint it. This is a '04 Inspire 40'.
There are two small blocks that are screwed on to a rail on both sides of the uppper part of the door. These look like they are to keep the door aligned. I release the two struts and with the help of my wife we swing the door up past the lift point of the struts and the door will not come out of what appears to be a channel type hinge at the top.
Please, can someone tell me step by step how to remove the door without losing a finger in the process.

Hi Tom.

Been there done that( couple of times) the blocks are held in place with screws, and all they do is keep the door from moving fore and aft as well as in the track, remove them and the doors will come off out of the"J" track,

Thanks Jerry, we've opened the door as far as it will go and wiggled it to death and it still won't release. Should I put some duct tape at the top where the door meets the channel to protect the paint and force it or will that just cause me more grief. This is a bear to wiggle and would a rubber hammer help or hurt the whole process. I contacted CCC and they want $1200 for a new d

The top left basement door #5 I believe has been knocked out 1/4 to 1/2 inch from somebody not making sureeverything was clear before they slid the tray in from the other side. I know I probably have to remove the bock keeper, but I'm not sure on how to proceed and what to do after that point.

Hi Im not sure what you mean by top left but when I removed the door by the radiator I removed the two stop blocks visible when door is lifted. There is one on each side. then disconnect the lifts and then lift the door up and pull out at the hinge. Its a J hinge. If you lift to high it wont work. I think the door edge was about 8 to 10 inches away from the body when the hinge came free. Screws on the blocks were tight so I use an impact driver carefully. I hear people break the screws.

Thanks for your response Rod. The top left of the door when it is closed, is not flush with the door next to it. I understand about the screws, I am only able to get one screw out so far. I am going to find a impact driver today.
