We are interested in installing a solar charging system on our coach. Would appreciate input from any group members who have systems in use.my55tbird,2002 Allure,40'w/tag #30792

I have two solar panels and a Solar Boost 2000e controller and highly recommend solar. I cannot give you too much technical info but would suggest that you go online and seek sources other than Camping World.
CW used to sell Siemens (now Shell) but presently only carries ICP. I am not too technically minded but comparing different makes of panels lead me to other sources. I added a 120watt Kyocera in June. There are many makes and sources. Check online with google. I can recommend
www.backwoodssolar.com as one excellent source (no connections) but there are many others.

Good luck. Mike 2000 Allure 30493 On Thu, 04 Sep 2003 05:08:28 -0000 "my55tbird2" my55tbird2@...> writes:

Hi, I put on Solar Force panels on my 42' Affinity and I love them...they are peel and stick, not holes needed except to put the wires into the control box in the coach. They can be walked on, they have either 15 or 20 year warranty. Look on Solarforce.com. Ifd you have any other questions let me knwo. Dale

AM Solar(Eugenge, OR) installed 3 panels on our Intrigue. We are please with job and the benefit of having solar. There is really nothing to do or to maintain. The controller they installed also provides an accurate voltage reading (not a % but the real voltage number) on the batteries. We also switched to AGM batteries. We would do it all again.

Another thing I will add to this Solar Information.....Carrier and Sons in the Eugene area install Solar Force solar panels. These panels are wonderful, I put on 4 and I have 4 AGM's as my coach is all electric.
