Parking brake

Yahoo Message Number: 6101
Just read the article in the new Motor Home Mag on the Holiday Rambler Navigator. It was saying that the parking brake is set as soon as the key is turned to off and that also in emergency when you pull the manual knob up the wheels do not lock up. Am wondering- can this be added to the older coaches. Damon, maybe you can shed some light on this.

Thanks,
Egon

Egon,

My past Country Coach rep (Kevin Atkinson) use to pull the emergency brake all the time during test drives with customers while traveling 55mph plus, they would never lock up, just gradually slow down.

I also read about the Navigator's automatic parking brake, I had never heard of this so I asked my rep and he said "huh". I think that may be a mis-print. It could be correct though as they keep the Holiday Ramblers on a different lot, so I am not aorund them daily.
