My p/s living room slide can't be retracted. It blew the hydraulic hose and I can't get to the hose to replace it.
I have bleed all of the hydraulic solenoids so there is no pressure in any of the slides.
I have tried to pull the slide in using the safety hooks provided, but it won't move, it just broke the strap.
Anyone with experience with this, please let me know. I am stranded.

Jake, seems like that's a big/heavy slide. Did you check to see (owners manual?) if your coach came with 2 big 3 foot bolts to crank it in?

If it's a HWH mech I would suggest you call them. They have all the details of each coach and a great phone service. I had a bedroom slide stuck out. They talked me through it on the phone. Excellent service.

Got the slide to move in. One of the solenoids was stuck. The use of a small hammer freed it up.
For future reference, the procedure is quite simple. back out the small screw at the end of each solenoid releasing all pressure in the particular system, then use the hook attached to the wall, and using a ratchet with strap, slowly pull the slide in. When it is all the way in, tighten the solenoid screws, and secure the slide so that it won't extend with either the strap or if you can use a block to keep it from moving.
