not like home. It needs defrosting frequently.
We've improved matters somewhat over the years by remembering to wipe the sweat off bottles before putting 'em back in the reefer, and covering containers tightly, in order to reduce moisture in the reefer. Our newly bought Intrigue's reefer has an icemaker, which I assume will once again cause us to defrost more often. But we may remove it, 'cause we're not sure it's worth the space it takes.

I have been keeping the reefer on #4 setting and having to defrost it frequently. A few days ago I defrosted it and put it on #3, then #2. On #2, it is still below 30 degrees F. and there has been no ice forming! I put a thermometer in and it is about the same temperature on #2 as it was on #3.

We have eliminated frost buildup in the refrigerator by installing a fan. You can read the details in messages 6017 and 6020. We now run our refrigerator on #1 all the time and the internal temp runs between 33 and 38 degrees depending on the outside temperature.
