Anyone have a problem with some sort of banging near the inverter when using the washer/dryer? What to do?

Not sure what coach model you have - Assuming you have a Splendide unit in your coach, it is likely that the counterweights on the drum are coming loose and hitting on the inside of the box. The unit needs to be removed and weights reattached. Possible repairs may also include new drum shocks, drum springs or replace cracked weight brackets. Check with Splendide for a local approved service provider.
Good luck,
Herb H.

Splendides are not particularly well-engineered. LG makes a 24" combo that is almost the same size. That is what I am going to explore next. I asked this group if anyone had one but got no response. Here is a link to LG:
Amazon.com: LG WM3455HS 24 Front Load Compact Washer/Dryer Combo , 2.7 cu....
It has a 10 year warrantee on the direct drive motor. The only thing is that it is only a ventless.

Actually, the noise is not coming from the Splendide, I believe it is a electrical problem and comes from the area of the inverter and surge protector. I have a 2003 Intrigue.

I cannot imagine what could be making a noise like a banging Splendide down there!
