The CradlePoint PHS300 Personal Wi-Fi Hotspot is a true plug 'n' play solution that creates a powerful 3G/4G WiMAX Wi-Fi network almost anywhere. Connect all your Wi-Fi enabled devices by simply plugging in your activated USB data modem and turning on the PHS300. It's that easy! No more searching for a hotspot, you are one!
Used, works perfectly. We used it at home and in our coach all over the US. No problems at all.

$20 plus shipping.

Lee,

I'm interested! I don't have a USB data modem. Is this something I can buy from my local electronics store? Will I need to pay a service provider to get access? Thank you, Ron Jacobs 2005 Inspire #51264

Check this website, I've found them to have competitive prices and great support;

Think the PHS300 has been discontinued with them but they have a bunch of other data modems. They will also give you free phone information on this type of product Check out:

He has discussions on this subject that are informative. He is/was "HOT" on the WIFI Ranger.
The ESCAPEE's have a great discussion group pertaining to "Internet on the Road", you do not need to be an SKP to join.
I took a different route since all the new stuff is wireless, went with the Verizon MIFI (get the one with external antenna port if you go that direction).

Should have read the whole thread before I posted, didn't realize that Lee had the 300 for sale, sounds like a great price to me, never used that one but all of the Cradlepoints have been very easy to set up.
