Gulf Shore spring break

Hi going to Gulf Shores for spring break. Searched the forum but the only two resorts mentioned not real sure how we would fit in, fancy. Don't mind that but we are entertaining teenage kids.
Wife and myself two teenagers and an English bulldog. Would like to have coffee on the beach type place. Any recommendations.
