110v AC outlet on rear of coach

Yahoo Message Number: 84841
I need to install a 110v AC outlet somewhere in the engine compartment on my coach to supply power to a trailer that I pull for lights and an air compressor when stopped that I can plug into.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where would be the closest place to tap into the AC system. As a last resort, I can plug an extension cord in the TV bay, but would rather have something closer.
Some coaches I have had over the years has had these in the engine bay, but my current one doesn't.

Anyone with any ideas?

thanks,
Jerry

When I was pulling a Airstream travel trailer we had a 4000 watt genset in the pickup bed that ran on diesel fuel from the truck. The power was sent to the trailer via the unused contacts on the multi-pin plug that powered the brakes, stop and turn lights to power the Airs.

I have a 2006 Inspire 360 #51668 and I did just that. My coach has the washer & dryer in the rear I removed the panel behind and tap into the power for the washer and ran it down to the trailer hich and plug in the trailer there.

That sounds like a great idea, mine has the washer/dryer as well, which we never use anyway.
