Thermostat Locks Up

Occasionally the RVComfort.zc thermostat in our 2006 Inspire will display "00" as the temperature reading and then lockup so the mode, zone or temperature can't be changed. Sometimes it unlocks itself, sometimes we have to turn the thermostat off and then back on to get it unlocked, and sometimes we have to flip the DC disconnetct switch to reset it.
We've changed thermostats but that didn't help... it still locked up intermittently with the new thermostat.
Any suggestions as to what the problem or fix may be.
