Ice Maker Water Control Valve

Yahoo Message Number: 85455
I had the Fridge's ice maker water control valve freeze solid & crack in some sub-Zero weather.
I bought & replaced the control valve & have water to the inlet side of the valve.
No water goes to the Ice maker.

There is no power/voltage to the Red, fused wire that goes to the valve.
I can only find one DC fuse to the Fridge, it is a 25 amp in a fuse box, (it;s O.K.) passenger's side rear bay bulkhead with the chassis Fuses.
Not sure why no voltage to the Red wire &/or where any other related fuse boxes are located.
The two use boxes under the dash, are not labeled to Fridge &/or Ice maker.
Any suggestions??
Thank in Advance.

Lee,

You don't tell us what king of refrigerator you have but, my Dometic has a black circuit box on the rear of the unit. Inside of that box are, I think, two glass fuses. I would check there.

Good luck.

The ice maker sends power 110 vac to the valve for an allotted time. Check and make sure your ice maker is sending power to the valve plus make sure the valve is 110 vac. If you get stuck just give us a call we can walk you through it.
