Smartwheel back lighting

My smartwheel back lights on the switches for cruise, lights and wipers etc. will not illuminate. I have adjusted the dash lights but makes no difference. My gauges and all other switches light up fine.

Does anyone know where to look or what controls these lights?

The power for the SmartWheel comes from the VIP SmartWheel controller. Mine is mounted on the front firewall just left of the steering column below the dash. You have to lay on the floor to see up where it's located.

I believe their website has trouble shooting info.
