Driver electric toll window

our 08 Intrigue 530 has a failed electric toll window. Apparently CC bought some from a bankrupt supplier and didn't install many.
The failure is in the push-pull cable. Our local dealer made a mess of trying to fix it for big bucks. An Oregon tech suggested taking it apart and insalling a new plastic cable guide.
I am in the process of doing that. They really buried the assembly..
Can't find anything in the files on this..
Anyone been down this road?
