Winegard "Mushroom" Satellite Antenna Mount

When Hughes quit supporting MotoSat and performance was much more expensive for much less performance we switched to Verizon. Removed the MotoSat system from the roof thereby shutting down our Satellite TV. After looking at the available Sat TV offerings we decided on the "Carryout", like it because it's useable away from the coach on a tripod. We also wanted something on the roof for ease of setup and using the tripod puts other RV's and obstructions in the way of the satellite.
The "Mushroom" comes in 2 flavors, a roof mount and a tripod mount. Decided we could take the tripod mount and devise a simple roof mount for normal use. I've uploaded a couple of pictures showing the mount, "Carryout Roof Mount". Used the MotoSat plate for mounting the carryout. Material used, a 6' piece of 1.25"x1/8" angle aluminum and a 3' piece of 1'x1/8' angle aluminum, 6 ea 1/4" bolts and 4 ea 3/8" bolts.
I cut the power cord (about 18" from the unit) and used 2 pin trailer connector. I unplug at the trailer connector for external use and use the same connector for the power cord on the roof.
