BBQ for Motorhome

"Way back" I modified a 2 burner Sterling BBQ for use in our MH. Finally it went "kaput" and it was too expensive to repair. Started looking for a 2 burner that would be easy to carry. Found a Stainless Steel Sportsman Grill at Sams Club and made the purchase ($89). I've uploaded some pictures of the modification for use with the MH (BBQ for MotorHome).
Connected it to the MH 45 gal propane tank via 1/4" quick disconnect hoses (I use 25'). Purchased the hose and connectors at "Hose Power" in Tucson AZ. Installed the Propane "take off" after the MH 2 stage regulator. Note that I originally took it off before the regulator and had a separate 2 stage on the BBQ. This DID NOT WORK!. The hose was large enough that the surge valve in the propane and shut the propane off. Even though the connectors are "shut off" wanted a separate valve for the BBQ.
One of the problems with the Sportsman Grill is that it's very susceptible to wind. Initially I put some baffles inside the BBQ then found a"GrillGuard" Windscreen. That works really good.
We store the Sportsman in the Battery Compartment, easy to get to and put away. Grill works great for the $$. Really like having the 2 burners.
