Can't stop generator with switch in bedroom

We have a 2007 Magna that has two switches that can start and stop the generator in the bedroom under the safe but right now we can only start it with the switch and have to stop it with the switch on the generator. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it???

Does your coach have a VMS 240 in the dash, if so you should be able to turn off the Genny from the Genset screen.

There is a connector at the generator that connects the generator to the coach control units. Pull it apart, clean lube and try again.

Pat,

The gen on / off switch in the bedroom you need to hold down till you get the desired result. So if it is running and you want it off, hold the button down till it stops. At least that is how ours works. Our Silverleaf computer gen start sometimes does not operate correctly. I learned that by turning off the house power that it restarts the Silverleaf and then the Silverleaf gen start works. This happened to me last week. At least this is how it works on our CC.
