Help please lost air pressure

Yahoo Message Number: 88729
Driving from Indiana to Yellowstone now in Rapid City.
Lost all pressure on interstate, pulled to side and purge was stuck open. Found enough fittings to bypass dryer and get to civilization.
Talked with Bendix he thought it was governor, replaced and put dryer back in line. Purges every 30 seconds and when not purging air is coming out exhaust port on governor.
Builds pressure great, both small lines from dryer and tanks are good, dryer is AD9, new dryer filter and rebuilt purge before we left Indiana. Everything I read on line says dryer has a crack internal or new purge valve.
Also with the dryer in bypass I had a loud click click click from near the tank area? Sounded like a solenoid or something, not constant about every 5 minutes and lasted for 5 seconds each time.

Having a hard time here locally getting much help.

THANK YOU!!!!!
Nathan

Nathan,

If you're still in Rapid City, check with Godfrey Brake Service and Supply Co (605-343-5030). They've worked on my air dryer and other items typically found on over-the-road trucks. Good people.
Eddie's truck service (next door to Godfrey) is another possibility, but I'd try Godfrey first - we had a bad experience with Eddie's a few years ago.
Dakota RV (800-788-0341) near I-90 exit 55 is also recommended by folks that have used them.

I talked with Godfrey and they actually delivered a part out to us. Great guys, helped me on the phone several times they just could not get us in. Nobody could get us in, business is good and good for them.
Kept the dryer in bypass and she ran great, I think the compressor is running to often however.
We moved on to WY and had unloader rebuild kit and some other items shipped to us here at RV park. The kit maybe more than I can handle here at the park. Hope for the best plan for the worst!! Thanks for the Information
