Microflush LF-220 toilet cam repetitive cycling.

Yahoo Message Number: 89540
We are traveling and our toilet flapper cam continually cycles.
I can break the cycle by removing the toilet fuse and leaving it disconnected for 3 minutes or so. The toilet will then flush cycle properly for a period of time.
Eventually, on a new flush, the flapper cam will begin cycling continuously when we flush the toilet.

I think it is the limit switch on the cam.
Has any had a similar problem and achieved resolution? If so, I would be eager to learn how to fix this thing without trying to source the limit switch.

I have same toilet in 2000 Magna 40 and had same problem. Hub of plastic cam plate had small crack which caused the problem. Ordered replacement at www.microphor.com for a few dollars. Also there is a black square switch inside the back cover of the toilet that would be much more convenient than pulling the fuse.

Dean,

Yes I had the same problem with my Microflush. I removed the toilet to obtain access to the limit switch. Removed the switch and went to Grainger and they were able to match it up. As I recall the adjustment on this switch is pretty critical so you may want to take some measurements before you take the old switch out.

Good luck,
Don

Thanks for the replies and assistance. Unfortunately my vintage toilet has no shut off switch, so removing the fuse from the holder is my best option.
I see no adjustment to the limit switch to try to correct the behavior, so I guess fixing it is not an alternative.
Guess I will have to source the switch and cam plate on Monday from Microphor.
Are there any other vendors of microswitches that have a retail store presence?
