coolant capacity

Could someone advise the coolant capacity of a Caterpillar C13 in a 2005 Magna? I've looked in my owners manual & don't see it listed anywhere.

Thank-you,

I had mine done a few years ago. The receipt ought to tell me the number of gallons of CAT ELC used. I can check when I get home, but an 07 Intrigue might have a different volume.

Volume can be different on each coach, even the same model. Depends on accessories and how it is plumbed. Takes coolant to fill all the lines to and from heat exchangers etc.

Hi Fred,

As a point of reference, the C12 in my Affinity takes 21 gallons of coolant. So, I bet yours is going to take a bunch of it as well.

The manual for my 96 Affinity is 21 gal of coolant, but I could only drain out 12 gal. of coolant at the lowest point on the radiator. I have a Cat 350 and driving at 66 -70 mph puling a Cadillac, temperatures stay between 197 to 205F. Outside temps 85 to 90 deg. Makes me wonder where is the missing coolant? Tom Buka
