Redirect Aqua Hot exhaust

We have our first coach with Aqua Hot. The exhaust exits out the driver's side of the coach. While it does not smoke or smell too bad, I think a neighbor in a site to my left might be bothered by it. I thought of getting a Genturi for it but where it exits the coach, the vertical pipe would be too near the side of the bedroom slide.
Wondering if anyone with Aqua Hot has just used an EMT elbow and a couple of sections of EMT, lay it on the ground (or maybe elevate it with some blocks) and route the exhaust to the rear of the coach?

it may work... but the exhaust on a webasto (which is what's in a aqua hot) is suppose to be as short as possible, also it will get very hot. Not saying it wont work but I'd recommend doing something else.

The exhaust pipe runs from the Aqua Hot unit across the entire width of the coach to the driver's side right in front of the drive axle wheel. So, the exhaust pipe is already 7 ft. long or so.


I guess the reason CC did not just have the exhaust exit on the curb side (would be a lot shorter run), was to keep the exhaust away from anyone sitting under the awning or on the patio on curb side.

I wish I were that fortunate my exhaust is on the Patio side just in front of the drive wheel. The smell loves to come in the bath and kitchen wqindows and with a slight tail when in the front door. Beaver used to run their exhaust pipe out through the rear of the coach through the fake rear bumper. Depending on conditions I have the vertical 2 exhaust pipes. I had to add a horizontal pipe to run the genset pipe up where the it could be secured. I use both pipes at rallies where we all are dry camping.

I did a "Bills Genturi" for our Webasto and our generator on our CC 1998 Prevost Bus. While both exhausts came out the back, when dry camping and I understand at all NASCAR tracks, its still best to ventilate to the roof area. BUT the Webasto and Aqua Hot are MUCH hotter exhausts than the generator. So I bought several sections of 3" insulated gas furnace-vent "B" pipe at Lowes. Added a custom-bend connecting pipe from a muffler shop. They flared out a portion that slips over both of the exhausts, curved it a bit into a vertical pipe and then I fashioned a metal bracket to allow it to slide into the 3" gas-vent. I added some inexpensive vacuum brackets like they use to pull windshields and handle glass plates and some bungee cords. Now all I do is take 3 sets of vacuum "hooks" and suction them to the back of the bus and slip on the adapter pipe, slide over the sections of 3" gas-vent and hook the bungee cords around the vent and onto the vacuum brackets. It works. Safe to the touch. By slipping the smaller muffler pipe extension into the bottom of a 3" vent, you create your own venturi-action. Search the web for various vacuum suction brackets but I don't think I paid more than a couple of bucks each and I bought like 8 so I had spares.

No I don't! I use a set of suction cups used to lift large pieces of glass that I attach to the wall and a bungie cord to secure the pipe on the patio side. I went to a muffler shop and had them make me a horizontal extension to line the second vent pipe with the front arm of the velvac mirror on the driver side and connect the pipe with another bungie cord. To make sure the pipes stay aligned I bought some pins and drilled holes in the exhaust pipes to keep everything secured for when the wind comes up. Next time I set the system up, I'll post some pictures. OH! I need to mention Charlie Lawrence, a friend and 2003 Affinity owner from New Hampshire, as helped me with the project.
