silverleaf vmspc

Yahoo Message Number: 90133
I have a 2002 Allure #30782. I would like to add silverleaf but I can not find the diagnostic port under the dash. Does anyone know if I have one and where it is located? I know there are ports back by the engine.

thanks

Jack

If its not under the dash try removing the panel below the transmission control panel and look in that compartment. That's where it was in my previous coach.

On my '04 Inspire, it is behind the panel to the left of the drivers seat. Four screws, easy access.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I found it located behind the carpet kick panel under the dash on the right hand side of the wheel. It is a six wire connector. Anyone using the VMSpc would like to add how the like it?

thanks

I have the Silverleaf 330, I like gauges and this one fit the bill for me. I have the Edge Insight CTS in my Ford PSD so real time number are great. The big difference is the stock gauges read a lot higher and I can see when the fan kicks on and ECT and TT drop where the stock gauges just set there. Well worth the dollars for someone that like gadgets.

Mine is located under the dash, behind the carpeted panel to the right of the gas peddle.

Does anyone out there know if I can connect the SilverLeaf VMSpc to my Kindle Fire HD rather than a laptop? RJ

My 2005 Inspire has both the 6 and 9 pin plugs in the panel under the transmission control and in the back engine compartment. Anybody know which one I use for the VMSPC the 6 pin or the 9 pin?

Thanks,

RJ,

You must connect to a Windows operating system upon which the Silverleaf software can be downloaded. Kindle Fire won't work.
