OMEGA II AWNING QUESTION

My Omega ll awning on my large drivers side slide out will only pull out over the slide
about 8". I took it to my dealer and they told me that someone must have replaced
the fabric and cut it too short? I did not buy that. My other 2 shorter awnings work

fine but are hard to pull out.

Has anyone had this problem?

I understand these have been discontinued.

Unfortunately, I did have the short awning problem on my Intrigue. I had the fabric replaced and somebody (either the installer or Carefree) did measure right and then the awning would not come out past the slide more than about 8-10 inches. Since I found it out quickly, I was able to get I replaced with the right fabric length. I suspect you didn't just have your fabric replaced, did the awning ever come out farther?
Also, you can still get fabric replaced. I did it about a year ago, the Omega II didn't last long, was obsoleted after a few years I think.
