2006 Affinity thermostat lock up

Hello everyone,

Do any of you have the RV Products t-stat? And if you do do you have any issue with it locking up?

Ours goes wacko often. It either goes to "00" or zones disappear and it won't change screens. It has a new t-stat, new electrical line filter and we just had the dimmer switches taken out. It does it when it's really hot or not....with the lights on or off....sometimes it keeps blowing cold and sometimes not.

I think the next thing we will try is changing out the two florescent lights to LED to get rid of the ballasts.

We have the exact same problem with our thermostat. Just took it to Camping World. They added another ground to the thermostat and it just made it worse... locks up faster and won't unlock more often. The only way I can get it to unlock is remove the cover and take out the fuse. If you find a solution, please let me know... .

Sometimes ours will "unlock" just pulling the fuse but the other day we couldn't get that or the house battery disconnect to get it back so we started the genset and it started working.
At least I know one thing not to do!

If we figure out anything I'll let you know.
