Heat in Plumbing Bay

Need some help, does anyone know if when using the forward furnace does heat from this one go to the plumbing bay? Or do you have to use the aft furnace to get the heat to the plumbing bay? We have an 05 inspire.

We own a 2007 Tribute which is similar to your coach. If you open your bay (probably does not have a latch on it....You may have to take a couple of screws out to access this bay usually on the passenger side of the coach) where the water tanks are stored, you will see (I think) a vent pipe coming down into the water tank storage area from the rear furnace. Run the furnace and you will feel the hot air coming out.....And, the heat goes all the way through the bay to the water bay control side.....That rear furnace is the ONLY source of heat for your water bay. I have a thermometer sensor in the water bay that I can watch from inside the coach. If the temp gets too low, I supplement the the heat in the water bay with a small ceramic heater which really does a good job. We went thru the ice storm in Dallas no problem like this....

Your forward heat goes to the plumbing bay. Just to satisfy yourself turn your forward furnace on, go out, open the plumbing door and put your hand up to the heating duct coming from above. I have an 04 Inspire and mine works the same way.

I have a 04 CC Inspire that appears to be almost a duplicate of the one in this video. The one difference I see is that mine has a 350 Cummins engine instead of the Cat. How would I go about getting a video like this one that would more closely match my 04?

hi On our 05 inspire the rear furnace under the drivers side vanity heats the rear of the coach and the plumbing bay. The forward furnace is in the slide and is ducted in the slide only. In the cold we allways made sure the rear was set a little higher to make sure it did most of the work and cycled frequently to keep the plumbing nice and warm. Hope this helps.

I doubt there was a video that detailed for every separate model of the Inspire. I had a 05 Inspire Genoa with the Cat. and it was pretty much identical to the video but there are so many options and vaiations that were offered. The basics are all the same though.
