Hydraulic Cannister

Is that the same Hydraulic System to Drives the Side Radiator Cooling Fan Motor. I noticed the Sticker for 6,000 mile changes on top of the cannister but had not had time to look in my owners manuals about it yet...

Lee, All I know is that on my coach I am referring to power steering reservoir. I have a Cat engine. Sorry I can not be of more help. Dale

Yes - it's the same hydraulic system that does the radiator fan and the power steering. The recommendation is definitely 6,000 miles.
It takes a bunch of fluid - basically power steering fluid - and three Nelson filters (the part number should be on top of the cannister). Finding the filters is an experience - especially in certain parts of the country. We found them at a regional truck parts place called "Fleet Pride", but I'm told that you can order them from CC in Oregon. The three filters stack into the cannister - be sure to check the dipstick on the cannister after you fill it.
