Power gear gearbox (on forward driver slide)

I had a slight leak, more an occasional drip, from the gear box, when I put a wrench on the bolts clamping the box together they took a measurable tightening. The drip has now stopped and I may have lost less than a teaspoon of oil. I enquired of Power gear what was in the box and can I top it up. They said they had no idea what was in it, it was a non serviceable item. Just get a new one at $700!! Well has anyone had this box apart and can tell me what is in there. Then I can judge if to leave it while it still works fine??
