Aftermarket Keyless Entry

Our 2002 Affinity has a Crime Stopper alarm with remote key fob and no exterior keypad near the entry door. The fob has buttons for lock, unlock, "trunk latch", and panic.
Has anyone added an electromechanical latch to their entry door that is actuated by the Crime Stopper receiver which is accessed via the fob?

Sure, If the door doesn't already have an actuator, open it up and figure out the best way to install one. They are readily available at almost any auto parts store. Then once it's in, wire it up and you're ready to go. There are much better systems IMO such as essex's which also you can have the keypad outside either on the door or on the coach.

I was not clear. Let me rephrase. Has anyone installed a door lock actuator in a 2002-era Affinity or Magna entry door? If so, any tips on removing the entry door upholstered interior panel?
I'm familiar with the Essex system. The Monaco coach we traded in for this Country Coach had one. Loved it. The Affinity has a Crime Stopper alarm with working fobs and receiver. I'd like to use as much of that legacy system as possible. Don't care about the burglar alarm feature or the exterior keypad for that matter. I mentioned it only to help identify the Affinity's Crime Stopper configuration. I'm also familiar with Monaco's usual front door. The Affinity uses a lot of the same hardware (TriMark) but the construction of the door itself is different.

I have a 2000 Magna with the Crime Stopper alarm system. When we bought the coach the key fobs were missing. I called Crime Stopper and they were very helpful in getting my system updated, which involved buying a new system and tying into the existing wiring. You may want to give them a call at 1-800-998-6880. Ask to talk with one of their technical people. They sure helped me out and my system works great. I think CC changed the type of front door after my coach in 2000, but I would appreciate any information you might put together regarding a retrofit.

Here's what I've found so far. A Monaco 2000 Signature owner over on iRV2 is doing what we want to do. He has the good fortune of having an actuator already installed in his door. My door does not have the actuator.

However, my door does have a hole in the frame member that will allow wiring into that space. I would still need to drill a hole in the hinge-edge to get the wires or contacts in place.
I've done some surfing to look for a compatible actuator but have yet to find one. I've sent an email to Northwest RV Parts Supply to see if they can come up with one. If you find one please let me know.

While this was not intellectually challenging it was not a day at the beach to fish, route, solder, and otherwise operate in the tight confines of the rats nest of coach wiring and framework.
