Time to do a little upgrading, has anyone recovered their valances? Also has anyone replaced their shades with MCD day/night shafes?

Thanks

We replaced the day/night shades with MCD a few years ago. Had a couple of them break and a call for parts got us nothing as they didn't support that model anymore. They did offer a "customer loyalty" discount but it wasn't much. I only wanted one shade but would have had to buy a complete assembly for both windows. We looked at shades made by Auto Motion at a FMCA convention and they are a much nicer shade that MCD. Had those installed by Amazing Creations in JC last year and are very satisfied with them. http://www.automotionshade.com/English/Product.aspx?pSerial=&serial=142&parentNode=1-001

Yes. We recently had it done at Performance Upholstery in Tucson, AZ. Did a great job.

I recovered the valances myself just last month. Someone at the factory was staple happy, but if you are a little crafty, you can do it yourself. An air staple gun is worth every penny. It was a satisfying project and we are happy with the results. Good luck!
