Fresh water tank leak

Our first trip in the coach is supposed to be this weekend. The hot water really stinks from the hot water heater/lines needing all the anti freeze flushed out. I was using the outside hose to flush, running the hot water taps. I decided to fill the fresh water tank up also so I didn't have to hook up the hose again. I let the tank fill to about 85% I shut off the fill and walked away. The hose is still putting water into the system, tank fill is off. I happen to look at the fresh water % and it's dropping. It stabilizes at about 35% Filled the tank again and i"m walking around the outside and I hear water running onto the ground ahead of the differential about the center of the coach. Is there an overflow mid tank? I can't understand why it would stop at 35% Oh, I checked the fresh water dump and I heard it kick in and the tank starting to dump. I couldn't find any old posts that had the same or similar problem.

PS: Complete rookie here. I don't know what I don't know yet so maybe I'm missing something in the troubleshooting chain. Looking through all these manuals also.

Other coaches I know of will siphon water out of the fresh water tank through the overflow when the tank is filled to the point that water starts flowing out the overflow. I've not heard of this problem with CC's but I suppose it could be the problem. Since it stops at the same level each time this could be your problem.

Hello

On my inspire I had a problem with the water draining after I shut off the water and it did the same thing. What I think was happening is I would shut off the hose at the house and disconnect the hose before shifting the coach from fill to street and I think there was an automatic valve that didn't shift so I started shutting the valve at the coach before shutting of the hose. This stopped the water draining problem. It only did it a couple of times. Perhaps someone can explain better then i.

Interesting... So the point of the exercise was to flush all the anti-freeze out of the lines. I first hooked up the hose and used it for coach supply. Then for two reasons I switched to "fill". The first was so I could continue to flush the lines without hooking up the hose. The second was just to fill the tank up all the way to see if I could. When the tank hit around 85% I hit the stop fill switch. I didn't remove the hose or turn off the water. So, City water-fill tank-shut off fill-back to running on city water. Never turned the hose off.
I did hit the dump switch just to see if it worked, or worked differently than what I was experiencing. It did work, and the water appeared to be coming from a different place. That flow shut off as advertised when I turned off the dump switch.
